As a mother, culinary school graduate, and private chef, Tammy Cohen was faced with the constant challenge of feeding her clients who were finicky eaters, unaccustomed to incorporating wholesome and natural ingredients without compromising flavor in a well balanced diet. Impassioned to share her love of food and nutrition, she was confident that she could educate her clients about making smart choices when it came to eating. Devoted to her passion of good nutrition and bringing healthy snacking alternatives to families everywhere, Tammy founded Cooggies.
The Cooggies mix will last about 18 months in its sealed container. As for the baked goods, these will stay fresh at room temperature for about 3 days, wrapped tightly with plastic wrap or in a sealed container. You can also freeze them well wrapped in plastic and inside a freezer bag. Use them within 4 months. To defrost, just thaw goods at room temperature.
You can also freeze tightly wrapped raw cookie dough for up to 3 month, or refrigerate for up to 2 weeks.
Tip: For any baked goods, you can replace eggs for unsweetened apple sauce and/or milk or yogurt for a non dairy alternative.
